似瀑似飞花，

若抹轻纱；

石级蜿蜒到谁家？

世外桃源合我意，不敢言夸。

夜静睏禽鸦，

恻悯鸣蛙，

一轮皎月大啦啦；

泊岸孤舟横短棹，老树丫叉。

鸹（guā）：鸦类别称

恻悯（cè mǐn）：怜恤

短棹（duǎn zhào）：短把的船桨

Romancing the garden

Splash colored ink on the rice paper, I draw.

forms a Chinese painting,

looks like the waterfall,

looks like the petals fall.

I recalled:

"Oh! zigzagging steps lead to a romancing garden," I applauded.

"That's the land of peach blossoms." I praised more.

Lingered in the silent night,

I heard the frogs, kicked up a roar,

and saw a drowsy owl , under the moon, hanged tall.

lonely boat, berthed at the shore,

dodged behind the old tree's twigs,
looked so small.
